Right of withdrawal (Annexes A & B TRLGDCU)
Information on exercising the right of withdrawal (Annex A) and model withdrawal form (Annex B) under Articles 102–108 TRLGDCU (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), together with Law 3/2003 on the Statute of Consumers and Users of the Canary Islands.
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the home-visit contract concluded with Vet en Ruta within 14 days, without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date the contract is concluded (our confirmation of your appointment request).
2. How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model form below, but you are not required to.
Vet en Ruta S.L. · NIF: B93908325
Contact and correspondence address: Carretera General del Norte, entrada 319–321, local 4B, Tacoronte, Tenerife, España
Email: contact@vetenruta.es
Phone: +34 611 791 672
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
3. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.
4. Early performance and loss of the right of withdrawal
Veterinary home visits are typically performed within the 14-day withdrawal period. Under Article 103.a TRLGDCU, your right of withdrawal lapses early only if both of the following are fulfilled before the visit begins:
- You have expressly requested that we begin providing the service before the withdrawal period ends, and
- You have expressly acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
Both confirmations are offered to you in the booking form. If you have expressly requested a visit within the 14-day window and confirmed the waiver, your right of withdrawal ends once the visit has been fully performed.
If you withdraw in time after expressly requesting early performance, only the legally permitted proportionate amount for services actually provided before withdrawal may be payable. No such amount is payable without the required information or your express request for early performance. No cancellation fee applies to a valid statutory withdrawal.
5. Urgent treatment
Urgency alone does not automatically exclude your withdrawal right for veterinary care. A home visit requested at short notice is subject to the conditions above for early performance and loss of the right after full performance.
6. Model withdrawal form (Annex B)
If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may fill in this form and return it to us – it is not mandatory.
